For eligibility, you have to fulfill the following criteria:

• The applicant must be employed in the UAE.
• The applicant must hold a job role that comes under a classification approved by occupational classification scheme of MOHRE, which is as follows:
  • Classification - Level 1: Managers & Business Executives
  • Classification - Level 2: Professionals in the fields of
    • Engineering
    • Sciences
    • Education
    • Health
    • Information Technology
    • Business and Management
    • Sociology
    • Law
    • Culture
  • The applicant’s minimum level of education must be a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • The minimum monthly salary offered to the applicant in the UAE must be AED30,000 or equivalent.
  • The applicant must hold a Practicing License considered valid in the UAE in case it’s required (E.g., Pharmacist, Physician, Teacher, etc.).

Scientists and Researchers

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• Hold a Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Technology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Life Sciences as per the classification by the Ministry of Education
• One of the following
  • A Ph.D. from one of the top 500 universities in the world
  • A master’s from one of the top 250 universities in the world
  • A Master’s/Ph.D. from one of the top 100 universities known for specialization in the field of study of the applicant
• One of the following
  • An FWCI (Field Weighted Citation Index) grade of 1.0
  • A Scopus H-index grade > 20
  • An H-index grade of at least 10
  • Achievements in the establishment of research & development sectors within and out of the UAE on the basis of the recommendation made by the Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology

Senior Scholars and Clerics

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• Have a recommendation letter from one of the following
  • The Ministry of Culture & Youth
  • A competent local authority

Elite Specialists in Industry & 4th Industrial Revolution

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• Have a recommendation letter from one of the following
  • The Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology
  • A competent local authority

Elite Specialists in Health Fields

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• A letter of recommendation from one of the following
  • Abu Dhabi Department of Health
  • Ministry of Health
• A valid license to operate in the UAE

Elite Specialists in Education

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• A letter of recommendation from one of the following
  • Abu Dhabi Department of Education & Knowledge
  • Ministry of Education
• A valid license to operate in the UAE
