Eligibility requirements for the NBPNP
- Candidate must be between 22 and 55
- Have the required language proficiency and have language test result not less than two years old as proof
- Must have completed the ECA
- If applying for a provincial nomination under occupation, the applicant must have a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer
- Have at least 12 months of full time or part-time work experience in the province three years before applying
- Must sign a Commitment to live and work in the province

I have an ITA from the NB PNP. What if I can’t apply within 45 days?
If an ITA expires and the individual would still wish to apply, they will be required to submit a new Expression of Interest [EOI] through the INB Portal.
Can international students apply to NB Express Entry stream?
Yes. An international student might apply to the NB Express Entry stream up to 6 months after their “completion of studies” date, provided they are both living in as well as actively seeking employment in the province.
Do keep in mind that the completion of studies date is not the same as the graduation date.
Written proof of the completion of studies will be required.

The top-ranked candidates are invited by e-mail to apply to the NBPNP. Candidates who receive a nomination under this stream receive an additional 600 CRS points.
