The points are calculated based on your age, qualification, work experience, language proficiency and dependents. Under the Scheme you can:

- Settle permanently in Hong Kong

Migration through employment
General Employment Policy (GEP): This scheme is for applicants who wish to enter Hong Kong and live there for the purpose of working as a professional. Applicants with effective skills and work experience who are currently unavailable in HKSAR must apply for work under this permit category.
