The work experience of the candidates had to be in one of the 89 occupations stipulated by SINP. The SINP employs the EOI selection system to ensure that the chosen ones have the greatest potential to meet the needs of the labor market.
Candidates must demonstrate their commitment to settling in Saskatchewan and working there to build a life and career. For this, they have to showcase their education, work experience, age, language skills, and connections to Saskatchewan.
The Points Assessment Grid for International Skilled Worker category is used by Saskatchewan to rank the candidates with profiles in SINP. The maximum score is 100. The candidates who score the highest are issued an ITA for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.
