Immigration to Canada from UAE

Canada is known to have some of the most flexible immigration pathways and programs. Each immigration program comes with its own set of eligibility and requirements criteria.

Some of the most well-known immigration pathways in Canada are listed below –

Canada Immigration via Express Entry

The Express Entry program is one of the most preferred pathways to migrate to Canada. Since its launch in 2015, the Express Entry program has maintained a points-based system to analyze and select eligible candidates for Canadian immigration.

Quick highlights:

  • The Express Entry submissions are managed by the IRCC (The Federal Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).
  • The standard processing time for the Express Entry program can take up to 6 months or less.
  • A minimum of 67 on the points grid is required to create an Express Entry profile.

Migrate through Canada PNP

Candidates who wish to apply for a Canada PR visa via Canada PNP can follow the steps given below:

  • You can apply for the territory or province you want to settle in.
  • You should have a nomination from the province you wish to settle in.

*Note: Always choose a province from which it is comparatively easy to acquire a nomination based on eligibility and profile.

A provincial nomination via Canada PNP can benefit the candidate in two primary ways –

  • You gain eligibility to apply for PR directly at the IRCC.
  • You earn 600 additional CRS points.

Immigrate to Canada with QSWP

The Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) is the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). It is a perfect pathway for individuals wishing to migrate permanently and work in Quebec.

Expressing an interest in immigrating to Canada is the primary step in migrating to Quebec.

  • The province then shortlists individuals who qualify with the eligible skills and training and eventually issues ITAs.
  • The Arrima portal conducts invitation rounds like Arrima draws or Quebec provincial draws.
  • Candidates can apply for the Quebec selection certificate or Certificat de sélection du Québec via the QSWP.

(It is not mandatory for candidates to have a job offer. However, candidates with a job offer are prioritized.)

  • The QSWP is a points-based system similar to the Express Entry program.
  • Quebec does not participate in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Canada and the Federal Express Entry program.
