Saskatchewan conducted the latest invitation round on 15th August. 150 invitations were issued by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program to Occupations In-demand and  EE candidates.  SINP issued 45 invitations under its Express Entry stream. 105 invitations were issued under the SINP Occupations In-demand sub-category.   The cut-off score in the 15th August draw was 78 points.  To rank candidates under the EE and Occupations In-demand sub-categories, the SINP uses a unique points grid. Candidates are given a score out of a total of 100 points. A candidate’s score is based on factors like:
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Language Skills
  • Connection to Saskatchewan
The SINP invites the highest-ranked candidates in both categories for a provincial nomination in regular pool draws.  The SINP EE Sub-stream is linked to the Federal Express Entry Program. You do not need to have a job offer from Saskatchewan to apply under this category. However, it is mandatory for applicants to have work experience in any of the 19 In-demand occupations in Saskatchewan.  In 2019, the SINP has invited 1,789 candidates under the Occupations In-Demand category so far. The EE sub-stream has so far issued 1,315 invitations in 2019, as per CIC News.  The number of Invites issued in the 15th August draw was lesser in comparison to the previous draw. The previous invitation round happened on 24th July and issued 381 invites for a provincial nomination.  Y-Axis offers a wide range of visa and immigration services as well as products to the aspiring overseas immigrants including Australia Visitor Visa, Canada Evaluation With Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant, and Canada Express Entry       If you are looking to Study, Work, Visit, Invest or Migrate to Canada, talk to Y-Axis, the World’s No.1 Immigration & Visa Company.       If you found this blog engaging, you may also like…  Canada to fund 800 projects to help new immigrants settle down
