Details of the Ontario PNP Draw 2024

The first PNP draw 2024 was held on January 9, 2024, via OINP. 1,451 eligible candidates were issued invitations to apply for Canada PR via targeted Trades and Healthcare Occupations draws. The draw was conducted via Ontario’s Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

Skilled Trades Occupations

The OINP draw issued 630 invitations via the skilled trades occupations category. Candidates required a CRS score of 33 or above to be selected for the draw.

Another requirement for the skilled trades occupations was to have an employment offer in any of the occupations mentioned below:

Health Occupations

The OINP draw issued 821 invitations via Health occupations and Tech occupations combined. Candidates required a CRS score of 40 or above to be selected for the draw.

Another requirement for the Health occupations was to have an employment offer in any of the occupations mentioned below:

Tech Occupations

The OINP draw issued 821 invitations via Tech occupations and Health occupations combined. Candidates required a CRS score of 40 or above to be selected for the draw.

Highlights: PNP Draws in the second week of August 2023

• Two provinces conducted PNP Draws in the second week of August 2023.
• Manitoba and British Columbia conducted the PNP draws and invited 810 candidates.
• The minimum CRS cut-off score for the Draws was 60-108.
• The PNP Draws were conducted under different categories with Manitoba issuing the highest number of invites.

August Week 2: PNP Outlook

• Manitoba and British Columbia conducted PNP Draws in the second week of August 2023.
• Manitoba issued 615 EOIs via Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education stream, Skilled Worker Overseas categories.
• British Columbia issued 195 candidates via Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry-level and semi-skilled categories and for Express Entry candidates.

• 86 eligible candidates were given Invitations to Apply (ITAs) via the NBPNP draw.

MPNP Draw

• The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held a PNP draw under the three streams on May 4, 2023.
• 539 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to eligible candidates via the MPNP draw.
• The draws were conducted skilled worker in Manitoba, International Education stream, skilled worker overseas.
• The minimum CRS score range for the draws was between 606 to 699.

PEI PNP Draw

• The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) conducted PNP draw under the Labour and Express Entry stream on May 4, 2023.
• 122 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued in this draw.

OINP Draw: Targeted Draw

• The OINP draw was conducted on May 5, 2023.
• A total of 1863 NOIs were issued with a CRS score range of 475- 482.
• It was a targeted Tech draw and invited candidates who fulfilled the given eligibility criteria.

Saskatchewan conducted two PNP draws on May 2,2023. The total umber of ITAs issued

• Submit an application for Express Entry through any of the following pragmas:
  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Federal Skilled Trades
  • Canadian Experience Class
• Some provinces and territories may ask to let them know whether you are interested to apply in their enhanced PNP stream. Interested provinces will send you a notification of interest
• You can contact the province and go through their PNP process
• If you fulfill the eligibility criteria, you will receive a provincial nomination certificate along with additional 600 points within the Express Entry pool.
• Apply for Canada PR along with passing police check and medical exam
• Submit all the requirements with the application
