The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program in Canada issued 438 Invitations to Apply in its latest draw held on 27th September 2018. 228 invitations were issued to candidates under the Express Entry and the rest 213 invitations were issued to Occupations In-demand sub-categories. The minimum score for the Express Entry category was 65 and for the Occupations In-demand category, the minimum score was 66, as per CIC. Candidates who were successful in receiving an invitation can submit an application for provincial nomination to the Saskatchewan Govt. An additional 600 points are obtained by candidates towards their Comprehensive Ranking Score once they receive a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan. Candidates who did not have their profiles in the Express Entry pool also got invited through the SINP Occupations In-demand category. Such candidates can directly submit their applications for Permanent Residency to IRCC. Both the Express Entry as well as the Occupations In-demand sub-categories do not require candidates to have a job offer in Canada. Candidates who have a profile in the Express Entry pool may apply to the SINP Express Entry sub-category. For those who do not have a profile in the Express Entry pool may apply under the Occupations In-demand category. Such candidates may be eligible provided they are highly skilled in any one of the occupations on the In-demand occupations list. This is SINP’s second EOI draw in a week for the Occupations In-demand category with the last draw being conducted on September 21. The EOI system was introduced by SINP in July this year replacing the earlier first-come, first-served application process. To be eligible, candidates are required to score 60 points on the SINP’s EOI Points Assessment Grid.   If you are looking to Study, Work, Visit, Invest or Migrate to Canada, talk to Y-Axis, the World’s No.1 Immigration & Visa Company.
