Abstract: France has issued more than 400,000 visas from 2021 to 2022.
From 2021 to 2022, the number of international students studying in France rose by 8%. More than 400,000 study visas in France were issued.
As per the reports published by the French Agency to promote higher education, the figure is the highest increase in the last 15 years.

Most applications received were from students from North America.
The growth was prominent in business schools. They saw an increase of 18%. The population of international students rose by 7% in high schools. Around 6% in universities, 5% in schools of art and architecture, 3% in engineering schools, and &% in other institutions.
By August 2022, over 140,000 students from seventy countries worldwide had applied through "Etudes en France". It implies that the numbers increased by 18% compared to the time before the pandemic.
Recruitment in France rose by 18%.
