June 28, 2023:  The first ever Category-based selection Draw

• IRCC conducted the first-ever category-based Express Entry Draw on June 28, 2023.
• The category-based Express Entry Draw was held for the Healthcare Occupation Stream.
• 500 eligible candidates were selected for the EE Draw with a minimum CRS score range of 476.

The list of eligible healthcare occupations for the Draw is given below –

• Audiologists and speech language pathologists
• Chiropractors
• Dentists
• Dieticians and nutritionists
• Education counsellors
• General practitioners and family physicians
• Instructors of persons with disabilities
• Kinesiologists and other professional occupation in therapy and assessment
