Here we bring you the dates for provincial draws in 2022 that will be conducted by Saskatchewan PNP. These draws will be involving candidates from the Saskatchewan Immigration Entrepreneur category of the SINP. The first three SINP draws of 2022 will be held on January 6, March 3, and May 5.

The Saskatchewan Immigration Entrepreneur category aims at immigration candidates who have a minimum net worth of $500,000. They have to make investments of $200,000 or $300,000 depending on where their business will be established in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan puts 3 selection factors on priority so that it can separate immigration candidates who scored the same number of points on the points grid of the Entrepreneur Stream. They are:

  • Candidates with a business that’s planned for a key sector of the economy
  • Skills in the official language
  • Completion of a visit to the province to explore the region

When the candidates give their EOI, it must meet the minimum requirements for entry, which are:

  • At least 3 years of managerial or entrepreneurial experience that’s relevant
  • A net worth of at least $500,000 that’s acquired legally
  • Minimum investment of $300,000 in Saskatoon or Regina or $200,000 in any other area of Saskatchewan

Eligible candidates who submit their profiles get added to a candidate pool. They receive a score too. Candidates with the highest scores get invited to lodge an application that includes:

  • The commitment to be actively involved in the daily management of their business in Saskatchewan
  • Business Establishment Plan that confirms the figures in the EOI, and includes a minimum of one-third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless their investment equals or exceeds $1 million
  • Commitment to creating at least 2 jobs for citizens or permanent residents of Canada in case the business is situated in Saskatoon or Regina
Know your eligibility for Canada immigration. Use the Canada points calculator.
