Here’s a summary of every Canada PNP program draw that was held in the month of April 2021.

May 26, 2021 – Ontario issues 158 ITAs to international students

Ontario held 2 EOI draws on May 26, 2021, inviting 158 international students to file immigration applications via the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream. 147 ITAs were sent in the general draw with a minimum CRS score of 73 asked for. 11 ITAs were issued in the targeted draw that drew candidates via the Regional Immigration Pilot, without any minimum score asked for.

May 25, 2021 – British Columbia issues 379 invitations in 2 immigration draws

On May 25, 2021, British Columbia invited 370 candidates via 2 immigration draws held under the PNP. The general draw invited 323 candidates across 5 immigration streams, with a minimum CRS score from 76 to 94 required.

47 candidates were invited in the targeted draw that invited 47 candidates through 4 streams. The minimum score asked for across the streams was 111.

May 25, 2021 – Ontario issues invitations to 64 immigration candidates

On May 25, 2021, Ontario held an EOI immigration draw that targeted candidates under the Regional Immigration Pilot. The candidates were invited via the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

The invitations were issued to candidates who submitted their profiles between April 28 and May 25, 2021.

May 25, 2021 – Saskatchewan issues invitations to 269 immigration candidates

On May 25, 2021, Saskatchewan issued 269 invitations in an EOI draw to immigration candidates to apply for immigration via SINP. The target candidates were those belonging to the Occupations-in-demand category. They had to have skills and experience in one of the 36 occupations listed by NOC.

May 25, 2021 – Manitoba issues invitations to 232 immigration candidates in a PNP draw

Manitoba issued 232 LAAs to international graduates and skilled workers on May 25, 2021, in a PNP immigration draw. The LAAs were issued via 3 MPNP streams namely Skilled Workers in Manitoba (166 LAAs), Skilled Workers Overseas (46 LAAs), and International Education Stream (20 LAAs).

May 20, 2021 – 155 invitations issued by Prince Edward Island to 155 immigration candidates in a PEI PNP draw

Prince Edward Island sent invites to 155 skilled worker and entrepreneur immigration candidates in a PNP draw held on May 20, 2021. The invitations were sent via Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact streams of PEI PNP.

The invitations were sent as shown below:

  • Express Entry and Labor Impact – 138 invitations
  • Business Impact – 17 invitations

May 18, 2021 – Alberta invites 250 immigration candidates with CRS score of at least 301

In the Express Entry draw conducted by Alberta on May 18, 2021, AINP invited 20 Canada immigration candidates who were required to have CRS scores as low as 301.

Among the basic requirements prescribed for the candidates was the condition that they must be interested in immigrating to Alberta permanently. They had to be in an occupation that will give support to the economic development of the province and its goals for diversification.

May 18, 2021 – British Columbia issues invitations to 82 IT applicants in a Tech Pilot draw

On May 18, 2021, British Columbia issued 82 invitations to international graduates and skilled IT workers in a new BC PNP Tech Pilot draw. The minimum score candidates required to have was 80 across the 4 streams involved namely:

  • SI – International Graduate
  • SI – Skilled Worker
  • EEBC – International Worker
  • EEBC – Skilled Worker

May 18, 2021 – Ontario issues 138 invitations to international students

OINP issued 138 ITAs in an EOI draw via the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream on May 18, 2021. The minimum score candidates required was 77. These candidates must have had submitted their profiles between April 28, 2021, and May 18, 2021. The draw was a general draw.

May 11, 2021 – British Columbia issues 379 invitations to immigration candidates

In the PNP draw conducted by BC PNP on May 11, 2021, 379 immigration candidates were invited. There were 2 draws involved: a general and a targeted draw.

In the general draw, 331 candidates were invited across 5 streams. The minimum scores required ranged from 77 to 94 points.

In the NOC-specific draw, 48 invitations were sent via 4 streams. The minimum score required across all these streams was 112 points.

May 11, 2021 – Ontario issues its ITAs to apply via its new EOI system

On May 11, 2021, the OINP issued invitations through the new EOI system. Immigration candidates were targeted via the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. The minimum score required was 31. The candidates were required to have work experience in selected occupations in healthcare and certain skilled trades.

May 06, 2021 – Manitoba invites 150 immigration candidates

Manitoba invited 150 candidates with ITAs issued to them, who were international graduates and skilled workers. The MPNP issued invitations to candidates in 3 MPNP streams.

The invitations were issued as the following:

  • 108 LAAs for Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream – Minimum score was 400
  • 13 LAAs for International Education Stream
  • 29 LAAs for Skilled Worker Overseas – Minimum score was 703

May 06, 2021 – Saskatchewan invites 259 immigration candidates

Saskatchewan issued invites to 259 candidates on May 6, 2021, in a draw that was held by the SINP. Candidates in the Occupations-in-demand stream with experience and skills in one of the 63 NOC coded occupations got 123 invitations. They required a minimum score of 70 points.

136 invitations were sent to candidates from the Express Entry stream with experience and skills in the same NOC coded occupations. They also required a minimum of 70 points to qualify.

May 05, 2021 – Alberta issues invitations to 250 candidates

On May 05, 2021, Alberta held a PNP draw that required the candidates to have a qualifying score that was as low as 300 points. Invitations were issued to 250 immigration candidates. The candidates also required to have the interest to immigrate to Alberta permanently. They were expected to arrive in the province, work there and contribute to its economic development.

May 04, 2021 – British Columbia invites 84 immigration candidates in its Tech Pilot draw

84 IT applicants were invited via a Tech Pilot draw on May 04, 2021. The candidates belonged to the international students and skilled workers categories. The draw included candidates from 4 streams namely:

  • SI – International Graduate
  • SI – Skilled Worker
  • EEBC – International Graduate
  • EEBC – Skilled Worker

The minimum score required from immigration candidates across all the streams was 80 points.

May 03, 2021 – Nova Scotia issues 2 invitations in a business immigration draw

On May 03, 2021, Nova Scotia issues invitations to 2 immigration candidates via the NNNP. The qualifying points required for candidates were 44.
