Canada SINP updates the list of in-demand occupations

Canada SINP - Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has updated its list of In-demand occupations with effect from 3 July 2018. This is applicable to two of its sub-categories – Overseas Skilled Worker – Express Entry and Overseas Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand. Below are the key features of both these Canada SINP categories: Overseas Skilled Worker – Express Entry

• Candidates must fulfill eligibility criterions for entering the pool of Express Entry
• Job offer is not required
• Applications are processed on first-served for the first-come basis from qualified candidates in the pool of Express Entry
• Successful candidates are offered extra 600 points to their CRS scores
• Candidates need to score at least 60 points from 100 on the point grid assessment of SINP
• Applicants must have a minimum level of work experience in their related field of training and study in a skilled occupation in NOC B, A, or O that is in-demand in the province

Overseas Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand

• Applications are processed on first-served for the first-come basis from qualified candidates outside the pool of Express Entry
• An offer of a job is not required
• Candidates need to score at least 60 points from 100 on the point grid assessment of SINP
• Applicants must have minimum 1 year of work experience in the past 10 years in their related field of training and study in a skilled occupation in NOC B, A, or O that is in-demand in the province
