Canada issues 3900 invitations in latest Express Entry draw

The Canadian Govt. issued 3900 invitations for Permanent Residence to Express Entry candidates in its latest draw conducted on October 3^rd. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking Score for this draw was 445. The Express Entry Program, introduced in January 2015, manages the profiles of applicants in three federal economic migration programs in Canada:

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Candidates qualifying for any of these 3 programs need to submit an online Expression of Interest for Permanent Residency of Canada. Eligible applicants get accepted into the Express Entry pool. A Comprehensive Ranking Score is assigned to each profile based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency etc. Candidates get ranked in the Express Entry pool on the basis of their comprehensive ranking scores. Highest ranking applicants are issued Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residency of Canada through regular pool draws. Applicants who receive invitations get 60 days time to submit their application for PR to IRCC. The year 2018 saw IRCC introduce large, standardized draws. These draws have increased gradually over the months to the current high of 3900 ITAs. IRCC has issued a total of 66,400 invitations in 21 draws in the year 2018, as per CIC.
