Canada issues 1,500 ITAs in first All-Program Express Entry Draw

Highlights:

• The last all-program entry draw in Canada was held in December 2020.
• It is the 14th round of Express Entry invitations in 2022.
• The lowest ranking candidate scored 557 points.

Abstract: Canada sent 1,500 ITAs through All-Program Express Entry Draw.

Canada has resumed draws for all-program Express Entry. The last draw in this stream was held in December 2020.

On July 6, 2022, Canada issued 1,500 ITAs or Invitation to Apply to the immigrant candidates. It was the first draw to be held in nineteen months. The minimum score required for the draw was 557. The draw was the 14^th draw to be held in 2022.

The last draw for all-program draws held on December 23, 2020, invited 5000 candidates. The candidates had to score at least 468 points.

All-Program Express Entry Draw

IRCC or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada had stopped conducting draws for CEC or Canadian Experience Class and all-program applicants. There was a massive backlog of applications for these applicants.

The Canadian authorities were processing applications of highly skilled professionals all this while. The figures have significantly reduced, and therefore the all-program draws have been resumed. The new applications after the latest invitations will be processed in under six months. The applicants have a 60-day period to submit their applications.
