Benefits of the PGWP

  • Seek full-time employment: Students can opt for full-time work opportunities before graduation.
  • Earn higher wages: The PGWP pathway allows the candidates to earn higher than other work opportunities.
  • Freedom of choice: Post graduation, a student with a PGWP has complete rights to choose the occupation they are interested in and the employer they want to work for.
  • Start your earnings: You can make money by working for a job that fits your interests and skills, regardless of your degree.
  • PR Pathway: The PGWP is one of the pathways for acquiring Canadian permanent residency.
  • Get work experience: You can gain work experience that can be beneficial while applying for Canada PR.
