Work anywhere living in Dubai with a new program

If you love to live in Dubai but work anywhere in the world, there’s a program launched by the Emirate to realize that dream. This program is the Virtual Working Program for overseas entrepreneurs and professionals. This program offers this opportunity for a period of a year.

Features of the program as described by DCTCM

·       The program has a 1-year validity ·       For each person, the program costs US$287 (Dh 1,054) ·       The program also featuresmedical insurance with valid coverage across the UAE and a processing fee per person ·       It gives access to all essential services including utilities, telecom, and schooling ·       It gives connectivity to a global hub and a skilled workforce with people of over 200 nationalities

Documents needed to apply

·       Copy of passport with at least 6 months’ validity ·       Health insurance that has coverage across the UAE ·       Employment proof from the current employer with a contract valid for a year with a minimum salary of US$5,000 (Dh18,365) ·       Last month’s salary slip ·       Bank statements of 3 preceding months ·       Entrepreneurs must submit proof of owning a company for a year or more ·       Entrepreneurs must have an average monthly income of US$5,000 (Dh18,365) ·       Entrepreneurs must produce the last 3 months’ bank statements

Procedure

·       Email the above documents to workvirtual@dubaitourism.ae. ·       Wait for the representative from the department to contact the applicant
