UAE under 18 visa waiver ends for the year

The UAE had announced a visa waiver for children below 18 accompanied by adults in July this year. The announcement made on 15th July exempted the accompanying dependents under 18 of foreign visitors from visa fees. The exemption was valid between 15th July and 15th September and had been effective for the first time this year. As per the announcement by FAIC (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) in July this year, the waiver will be effective every year from 15th July to 15th September. For 2019, the visa waiver has ended for this year on 15th September. The UAE has many foreign tourists visiting every year as it is a very popular tourist destination. The visa waiver was very well received and got a good response from visitors from across the globe. The visa waiver was initially targeted at expat families who might want to visit during the summer holidays. The exemption on visa fees meant that the families could make a significant saving.
