According to the new study, Dubai has been positioned one of the best cities for the expatriates looking to work abroad among the top ten cities. The study also has shown that the Abu Dhabi rose to rank 14 above the countries Singapore, Hong Kong and Melbourne. Berlin, Barcelona, and Amsterdam are positioned among the top 5 countries for the expat workers. 12 per cent of the respondents preferred Dubai for work, while 22 per cent were happy to move onto London and 16 per cent to New York. Altogether, 57 per cent of all workers are ready to move to other countries for the work. The US, though the most preferred work destination in the world is losing its sheen due to the volatility of national politics especially to the people in Mexico and other countries. Germany rose to the second position, while the other European countries such as the UK and Switzerland have become prudent about the immigration,as quoted by the Gulf Business. The managing director of The Network and a co-author of the report, Mike Booker, stated that uncertainty in the UK is one of the prime factors for its fall in popularity among the foreign students. The study also found that the Chinese workers are more inclined to work in their country as compared to 2014, while people from India and Brazil are looking for the opportunities abroad. According to the survey, people who have expertise in interface design, artificial intelligence, and machine learning has shown greater interest in moving to a new country for the right employment.
