Details of the #280 Express Entry Draw

The Express Entry draw #280 was conducted on January 23, 2024, and invited 1,040 candidates with a score of 543.

 

The All-program draws considered candidates from the list of immigration programs given below:

• Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
• Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
• Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Eligibility for the Express Entry

The eligibility criteria for the Express Entry program are given below:

• Age: 18-35 years of age

(Anybody over 35 years of age will receive lesser points)

 

• Education: Minimum educational qualification equal to the higher secondary level of education in Canada.

(Anybody with a higher education level can receive more points)

 

• Work Experience: At least 12 months of prior work experience.

(Anybody with more years of work experience can receive more points)

 

• Language proficiency: At least six IELTS bands equal to CLB 7.

(Anybody with higher band scores can receive more points)

 

• Adaptability: 10 points are given to candidates with family members or close relatives living in Canada.

(Additional points are given if your legal partner or spouse is willing to migrate with you)

 

• Arranged employment: 10 points are given to candidates with a Canadian job contract.
