• IRCC conducted the first transport occupations category-based Express Entry draw for 2024 on March 13.
• The category-based draw issued 975 ITAs to eligible candidates.
• The minimum CRS score for the draw was set at 430.
• The most recent Express Entry draw was held on March 12 and issued 2,850 ITAs via the General draw.

Details of the Express Entry Draw #289

The IRCC conducted a category-based Express Entry draw for the Transport Occupations. The draw issued 975 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates under the Transport occupation. Candidates with a minimum CRS score of 430 were selected for the draw.

Two Express Entry draws have been held in March so far, issuing a total of 3,825 ITAs. The most recent Express Entry draw on March 12, 2024 issued 2,850 ITAs via the general draw.

Eligibility for Express Entry

Candidates willing to apply for the Express Entry program must score at least 67 points out of 200 to qualify.

The eligibility criteria for the Express Entry program are as follows:

• Age: Must be between 18-35 years.
• Education: Must have minimum educational qualifications equal to the secondary education levels in Canada.  
• Professional experience: Must have at least one year of prior work experience.
• Language proficiency: Must score required points in IELTS or PTE.
• Adaptability: Must have close relatives or family living in Canada
• Employment: Must have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer.
