Ontario PNP draw: Two immigration candidates get offer for nomination

Highlights of OINP draw held on July 27, 2022

• On July 27, 2022, a round of invitations was conducted by OINP.
• Two invitations were issued to immigration candidates through the Ontario PNP draw.
• This is the first draw of its kind conducted in July 2022.

On July 27, 2022, OINP issued 2 invitations to eligible candidates through an Ontario PNP draw. These candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination. Skilled foreign workers with an offered job in Ontario were invited through the Ontario PNP draw through the Foreign Worker Stream.

In 2022, till now, 1,529 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination have been sent through the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

About Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream

The “Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream” is an immigration stream for foreign workers holding a job offer to work in an occupation deemed to be a skilled one. By getting nominated through this stream, immigration candidates get the chance to apply to live and work in Ontario permanently.

The job offer received by the candidate must be in a skilled occupation. The skill type needed is 0, A, or B of the NOC (National Occupational Classification). This immigration stream is open to foreign workers inside and outside of Canada.

To apply through this stream of Ontario PNP, the first step is to register in the OINP’s EOI System. Then, if your credentials make you eligible you may receive an ITA (invitation to apply). This will happen before you can apply online for a nomination by the Government of Ontario for Canada PR.
