OINP’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream is another immigration stream that helps Canadian employers hire foreign workers who are French-speaking/bilingual outside Quebec. Quebec is a francophone province in Canada that prioritizes French-speaking immigrants and has put in place a policy to increase francophone population.

Which is the easiest PNP to get Canada PR in 2022?

The advantages of hiring French-speaking or bilingual immigrants are many. These include:

  • tap into new markets or new international networks
  • serve clients in French and English
  • get the benefit of support from the Francophone community like
    • Francophone Immigration Networks
    • The RDÉE (Réseau de développement économique et employabilité)
  • get the benefit of updated information on Canada Express Entry given by outreach officers situated across Canada

The French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream gives French-speaking skilled workers having strong abilities in the English language the chance to apply for permanent residence to live and work in Ontario.

How does OINP work? Here’s how Ontario helps you obtain Canada PR

If you want to apply for a provincial nomination via this stream to live and work in Ontario

  • You must have a valid profile in the Canada Express Entry.
  • You must receive an NOI from Ontario after which you can file an application online to get nominated by the Government of Ontario for Canada PR.

The nomination granted by Ontario will fetch 600 CRS points and the opportunity to apply for Canada PR to the Government of Canada via IRCC.
