The Finnish government introduced new income thresholds for applicants to acquire residence permits. However, the income requirements will differ based on the type of residence permit, such as study permits, international protection, employment-related, family reunification, etc. The income threshold will also vary based on the location of the applicant’s residence and the type of job position.
The table below has a few examples of some of the job positions and the minimum income threshold required:

The Finnish Immigration Services is offering applicants the option to request to be excluded from the latest income requirements. They can do so by submitting documents as proof that their situation is extraordinary.
