*Want to apply for a Schengen visa? Let Y-Axis guide you with the process.
The European Union’s Entry/entry system, also known as the EES, is an automation system that will replace the manual stamping of passports. The European Commission has announced the launch of the new EES starting October 2024, while some European countries will have it launched in November 2024. After the EES is launched, non-EU citizens must register for it irrespective of whether they have visa-free entry into the European Union.
*Want to migrate abroad? Sign up with Y-Axis to help you with the process.
All non-EU citizens must register for the EES after it is launched.
Step 1: You are required to provide your biometrics and travel documents (facial images, fingerprints, etc.) as a first step.
Step 2: A profile will be created after you submit the information. The data will then be stored in the database for three years.
Step 3: The registration for the EES will be completed.
The information stored in the database will be used to avoid irregular immigration, locate over stayers, recognize those with fake or fraudulent identities, etc.
