Canada conducted the latest invitation round of the Express Entry program on 24th July. The draw invited 3,600 candidates with the lowest CRS score being 459.  In comparison to the 10th July draw with a cut-off of 460, this draw saw a 1 point drop in the cut-off.  The latest draw was the second consecutive one to see 3,600 invitations. Both these draws have increased the size by 250 ITAs as compared to the draws held between 30th January and 26th June. All the draws between January and June invited 3,350 candidates or less, as quoted by CIC News.  The 24th July draw also saw a drop in the cut-off score. There was a 2-week gap between the last draw and this one which could be the reason for the drop in CRS Scores.  The time gap between draws is an important factor that affects the cut-off score. The lesser time between two draws does not let the Express Entry pool to replenish itself with high-scoring candidates.  Another important determinant of the cut-off score is the size of the draw. With the increase in the draw size, even candidates with a lower CRS score manage to get an invitation.  IRCC has issued 49,000 Invitations to Apply for Canadian Permanent Residence so far in 2019.  Canada, under its Multi-Year Immigration Levels Plan, has increased the admission target for 2019 to 2021. Hence, it is possible that 2019 may exceed the record-breaking 89,100 ITAs of 2018.  Many provincial nominee programs linked with the Federal Express Entry Program have also been active in the recent weeks. Express Entry linked provincial nomination streams of Ontario, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia have issued invitations to EE candidates.  The very first tech draw for the Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream was held on 12th July. 1,623 candidates with experience in 6 tech-occupations were invited for a provincial nomination. The CRS score of the invited candidates ranged between 439 and 459.  Y-Axis offers a wide range of visa and immigration services as well as products to the aspiring overseas immigrants includingAustralia Visitor Visa, Canada Evaluation With Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant, and Canada Express Entry    If you are looking to Study, Work, Visit, Invest orMigrate to Canada, talk to Y-Axis, the World’s No.1 Immigration & Visa Company.    If you found this blog engaging, you may also like…
