• IRCC held the 5th round of Express Entry invitations on July 11, 2023.
• It was an All-program draw that issued 800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates.
• The minimum CRS score selected for the draw was 505.
• Four consecutive Express Entry draws were conducted from July 4 to July 7, 2023.
• The first-ever category-based Selection draw invited 500 eligible candidates on June 28, 2023.

Category-based Selection draw

• Category-based Selection draws were first announced on May 31, 2023.
• The first category-based Express Entry draw was held for the healthcare occupation and issued ITAs to 500 eligible candidates.
• The first Express Entry STEM draw was held on July 5, 2023, and invited 500 candidates.
