Spain Job Seeker visa now valid for up to 12 months

The Spanish government announced the extension of the validity of the Spain Job Seeker Visa, starting in 2025. New measures are being introduced under the Reformed Immigration Law to address the ongoing labor market shortages in the country.  The Spain Job Seeker visa will allow foreign nationals to live and look for job opportunities in Spain for up to 12 months instead of the current three-month duration. With a Job Seeker visa, individuals can look for a suitable job and go through the required processes to legally reside and work in Spain.

Spain to Regularize 900,000 Migrants by 2027

Spain announced to grant Residency and work permits to 900,000 migrants by 2027, regularizing the undocumented migrants in the country. For the next three years, Spain will issue 300,000 Residency and work permits to irregular migrants until 2027. As per the latest reports, Spain requires around 250,000 skilled workers to help boost the country’s economy. The new changes will be implemented in May 2025, providing a more streamlined process for migrants.
