Romania plans to grant 100,000 work visas in 2025 to address the labor shortage across the job market. Romania will maintain the exact visa-granting quote for the fourth consecutive year. According to local Romanian media reports, an estimated 311,000 job sectors in Romania need skilled workers.
The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) introduced this initiative to address labor shortages in different sectors.
